As you have probably noticed, it's been a long time since my last post... A lot has been happening of late. I'm working full time during the day, part time during the evenings and weekends and trying to prepare for the solar eclipse trip to japan and china in the spare seconds.

We have also been looking after a friends dogs this week - Oscar and Cleo a surprisingly time consuming venture, but perhaps that's just because I'm not really a dog person! (I think dogs belong on farms, not in the suburbs, and I definitely don't think they should live indoors!)...

I probably won't get another chance to post, so just wanted to say - yoi ryōko o - bon voyage! (Yes, ok, it's a little strange to wish myself a happy trip but I'm practicing my Japanese!)...
